COVID-19 Policy

Elite Hair And Makeup Academy continues to follow health advice provided by the Victorian Government and operates under a COVID-Safe plan to keep our students, staff and visitors to our academy as safe as possible.

Domestic Students

  1. From November 3rd 2021, in line with the Victorian CHO’s orders, all students returning to face-to-face training at our studio are required to have their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccination in order to attend our studio. Students must show a copy of their vaccination certificate upon commencement of their course. Please note that we will not store or file this data, we will just need to check for proof of vaccination upon commencement of your course. This is a standard requirement for all Victorian institutions and universities from this date.
  2. Students who are presenting COVID-19 symptoms are not permitted to attend face-to-face training until they present a negative COVID-19 test taken within at least 72hrs prior to a class. Please be assured students who are concerned about missing a class due to illness do not face any penalty for absence. Missed classes can be made up in accordance with the available dates on the course calendar in whatever timeframe the student needs.
  3. If the face-to-face training classes are closed due to a Victorian CHO’s authorised Stay At Home Restrictions (lockdown), all face-to-face training will recommence post the Stay At Home Restrictions’s ending.  All face-to-face training will be paused and will then re-commence when we open under Victorian CHO orders.  Any missed classes can be made up in accordance with the available dates on our course calendar in whatever timeframe the student needs.
